Items to be Recycled:
NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES, OFFICE PAPER PLASTIC & ASEPTIC CONTAINERS
Glossy inserts, catalogs, mail circulars, phone This includes plastic bottles with threaded caps,
books, paperback books, cereal boxes, envelopes, the recycling symbol 1 thru 5 & 7. All plastic
wrapping paper, etc. bottles must be rinsed out completely. Juice & milk cartons are also accepted.
CARDBOARD (FLATTENED) TIN & BI-METAL CANS
Clean cardboard only. Must be broken down and Soup, vegetable, juice cans, etc.

GLASS (CLEAR-BROWN-GREEN) ALUMINUM
All bottles and jars must be rinsed out. No window Aluminum beverage cans only. No aluminum foil,
glass, light bulbs, TV tubes, drinking glasses, etc. TV dinner trays, pie plates, etc.
Place your recyclables in the special recycling cart provided.
These carts are to be left with the residence if you move.
Please keep your recyclables separate from your other garbage and easliy accessible.
Keep carts at least 3' apart and away from other objects (mail boxes, light poles, cars, etc.).
Turtle Recycling is Every Other Week - Serviced same day as trash.
All Bulk and Appliance requests must be scheduled in advance.

Bulk Items Included:
Furniture, Freon/Non-Freon Appliances, Mattresses, Box Springs
Tires (2 per month, 8 max per year) 1-gallon clear screw top waste oil containers
Electronics:
E-Waste for the Town of Turtle is the 1st Saturday in May at the Townline Road location.
Electronics are not included in the monthly bulk pick up but can be brought to the Townline Location.
Centralized Disposal Location:
Town of Turtle residents can utilize the Beloit Hauling Facility for disposal needs.
Hours: 8am - 3pm Monday - Friday
Location: 2301 W B-R Townline Rd, Beloit, WI
Proof of Residence is required.
No Medical Waste - No Yard Waste - No Paint - No Hazardous Materials - No Construction Debris
Holiday Schedule:
There will be no garbage/recycle pick up on the following days:
New Year's Day * Memorial Day * July 4th * Labor Day * Thanksgiving Day * Christmas Day
Collection will be 1 day delayed if the holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday
